Annual COR Celebration Honors Students and Families
On April 22, 2010
The Annual COR Awards Celebration was held on April 22, 2010, with over 350 children and their families in attendance. Pizza and drinks were provided for all. Ms. Ruth Jordan, CCSD School Board Chairperson, kicked off the celebration with opening remarks. Following entertainment by Mr. Joe Baldino with “Page to the Stage” and the awards presentations, students and their families enjoyed “shopping” for their favorites among hundreds of free gently used books.

COR was selected as a 2010 recipient of the Literacy Leaders Award given by the South Carolina Center for Children's Books and Literacy at the School of Library and Information Science at the University of South Carolina.
