High School Students Named COR HS Readers of the Year
On October 15, 2010
In 2010, COR established a new award program just for high school students. Students submitted essays, teacher recommendations, and lists of books read. Winners were selected for grades 9 to 12. First-place winners received $100, and honorable mention winners received $25. All of the students attended the Spring Post and Courier Book and Author Luncheon along with a guest.

COR was selected as a 2010 recipient of the Literacy Leaders Award given by the South Carolina Center for Children's Books and Literacy at the School of Library and Information Science at the University of South Carolina.
