High School Students Named COR HS Readers of the Year

In 2010, COR established a new award program just for high school students. Students submitted essays, teacher recommendations, and lists of books read. Winners were selected for grades 9 to 12. COR held three special book basket giveaways in 2010. Parents Receive Reading Tips

The COR Booth at Kid’s Fair on March 14, 2010, at Gaillard Auditorium was a huge success. Parents and children talked with Kim Odom, COR volunteer, about ways to encourage children to read. Kim engaged children in a hands-on activity to stimulate their motivation to read. Fun was had by all!
